Weekly after school art classes for your child to engage, create and explore different materials and techniques in a fun and structured way. Projects have been lovingly crafted by an arts educator and are specifically tailored to support the development of your child's creative and critical thinking.
Each term we will explore a new artist, movement or style and be inspired by a different project every week. All materials are supplied and we teach proper use and technique according to the elements of visual art. We are a team with over 15 years experience in the Arts and Education space. Our workshops are suitable for all students and abilities from prep-year six.
If you are looking for something a little bit different (and a lot of fun), enrol your child in ArtCEE today!

Term 1 2024
ArtCEE begins week two in Term 1 and will run for the duration of the term. Please check your individual schools for start and end dates. We encourage a full term sign-up but will happily refund your payment if your child is not satisfied after the first week (you will have 7 days to contact us and cancel enrolment).
We limit our classes to 20 participants to give each child time to work with our two facilitators and each other in a friendly environment.
If classes are cancelled/postponed by ArtCEE for any reason, we will offer an alternative date for a makeup class. Unfortunately, classes missed due to individual participant circumstances will not be eligible for a refund.
Please note, your child must be enrolled at the school to attend the Catholic School classes. State schools can accept enrolments from other local school students. West Ashgrove Uniting Church and Stafford Scout Hall classes are open to ALL students in the area. If we don't currently offer classes at your school, please email us and we can organise to start them!

FAQ's for school-based classes
How does my child get to/from art class?
Your child can come straight to art class when the bell rings at the end of the day. They have some (supervised) time to have a snack, go to the bathroom, and get an art shirt on if desired, before class starts at 3.15pm.
Class ends at 4.15pm, and at that time your child needs to be picked up, or go to after-school care.
How much are classes?
See individual school costs above. AfterPay is also available to help make payments more manageable.
What is covered in class?
Each ArtCEE term focuses on exploring a variety of art mediums and techniques via a central theme. The course curriculum is developed by our Creative Director, Carlie; a qualified teacher with over 15 years experience in the arts and education space.
Who are the classes most suitable for?
The classes are designed for all primary-aged children, from Prep - Year 6, with projects being able to be adapted as necessary to suit age and skill level. The classes suit those who are super keen on art, through to those who are just looking for a fun, different after-school activity.
What is the make-up class policy?
We do not offer refunds if you are unavailable to attend a class. In the event of teacher illness/absence we will try our utmost to organise another staff member to run the class. If this is not possible, we will offer a make-up class in the FIRST week of the following term.
