Aquatic-Themed Adult Art Course (8 Weeks): Create ocean-inspired artworks using acrylics, watercolour, collage, pastels and inks — a self-led course with gentle direction and an experienced facilitator to support your creative journey.

Dive into creativity with our immersive 8-week aquatic-inspired art course! Each week we’ll explore a new technique and subject from the ocean world, building your skills while letting your imagination flow.

​

You’ll create artworks inspired by shells, seaweed, jellyfish, seahorses, tropical fish, and more — experimenting with acrylics, watercolour, collage, pastels, alcohol inks and stencils.

​

This course is self-led with gentle direction, giving you space to follow your own ideas while still having the support of an experienced facilitator, who is there to answer questions and guide you through techniques when you need it.

 

By the end of the course, you’ll have a vibrant portfolio of ocean-inspired pieces and the confidence to continue your artistic journey. All materials are provided, and classes are run in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

What's included:

• All materials +1 experienced teaching artist (+ assistant as required)

• Tea and coffee

• Duration of 1.5 hours per week over 8 weeks

• Classes capped at 20 participants​

• Meet at the same place each week with parking on site and on surrounding streets

What's required:

• A desire to learn, experiment and try new mediums!

• An apron if you are worried about material spills.

How we run:

• We set up the materials and provide different projects over the 8 weeks.

• Each 'term' we create a new curriculum so you can keep coming back!

• We guide in a fun and informal manner, teaching at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

• You get to take your artwork with you and most importantly, carve out some 'me time' in your week.
