Discover the beauty of nature through art in our local adult art classes at Artcee. Designed for beginners and intermediate learners, this course focuses on botanical art — the detailed and expressive depiction of plants, flowers, and foliage.

Over 8 weeks, you’ll experiment with pastels, watercolour, acrylic, and collage, learning traditional techniques alongside contemporary approaches. Whether you want to build your skills or unleash your creativity, our supportive and friendly environment will help you bring the natural world to life on paper.

What's included:

• All materials +1 experienced teaching artist (+ assistant as required)

• Tea and coffee

• Duration of 1.5 hours per week over 8 weeks

• Classes capped at 20 participants​

• Meet at the same place each week with parking on site and on surrounding streets

What's required:

• A desire to learn, experiment and try new mediums!

• An apron if you are worried about material spills.

How we run:

• We set up the materials and provide different projects over the 8 weeks.

• Each 'term' we create a new curriculum so you can keep coming back!

• We guide in a fun and informal manner, teaching at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

• You get to take your artwork with you and most importantly, carve out some 'me time' in your week.
