Founder | Creative Director
Carlie Dole
Carlie is the founder and Creative Director of ArtCEE. With over 15 years experience as an Arts and classroom teacher, she brings a wealth of experience, skill and passion to the class.

'ArtCEE is a place to explore art in a fun and supportive way. After years in the classroom, I saw a need for there to be more visual art opportunities for students in the school grounds but as an extra-curricular activity. Each term I have the BEST time thinking of new experiences and artists for students to explore in our classes. I am super passionate about the role of art in the growth and development of children.'

"I had a truly wonderful art teacher as a child and she sparked my love of art and design that shaped my career. I love passing on what I have learned throughout my artistic journey and sharing a passion for art with the children. I am really passionate about artCEE and all that it stands for as a grass roots artistic community organisation.

ArtCEE provides a unique opportunity for children to learn about fine art in a way that is targeted at primary school age group. The lessons are based on technical skills that will assist the students throughout their life. The classes provide a social learning environment for the children to support each other's achievements."

Nikki Watson
My name is Anika Watson (but everyone calls me Nikki). I am thrilled to be working with your child this term and getting creative together!
I have been a teacher for over 20 years and lucky enough to work in 3 different countries. Along the way I have learned that art is a fabulous outlet for individual expression and a wonderful way to connect a person to the fun and freedom within themselves. There is nothing better than watching a creation unfold from a blank sheet of paper or lump of clay to something unique and beautiful.
I look forward to supporting your child this term and hope you are as excited to see the end results as I am!

Kat McGrory
Hi, my names Katarina but everyone calls me Kat.
I’ve loved making art for as long as I can remember! It has been a big part of who I am and has guided me as I’ve lived up and down the East Coast.
From my experience in childcare, creating art projects with the children was my favourite activity. Seeing their imaginations spark with joy is a great feeling!
I love being apart of fun, nurturing spaces where kids feel free to express themselves and grow through art just as I did.
If I’m not making something artistic in my spare time, you’ll find me reading or playing with my puppy named Juniper!

Having grown up in the country I have a love of nature, which features predominantly
in my artistic works. I particularly love the ocean and beaches and the vast myriad of

One of the important outcomes of Facilitation that I enjoy coming to fruition is the joy
that we all experience as we achieve what we set out to do and watching that
journey from beginning to the achievement of our dreams and the self esteem and
wellbeing we achieve as a result.
