Have a blast at school holiday art camp!
Session 1: Painted Pinboard
Turn your corkboard into a masterpiece! This colourful project can be a work of art all on its own or your go-to place for pinning notes, photos, and treasures. Using bold acrylics, thick impasto, and a mix of palette knives and brushes, you’ll create an abstract design ready to hang in your favourite space.
Session 2: Clay Face Vases
Give your flowers a personality! We’ll shape air-dry clay into fun, expressive faces that double as vases. After a few days at home drying, your vase will be ready to fill with blooms, turning your sculpture into a living artwork.
Session 3: Stencil Door Mats
Welcome the world your way! Using stencils and bright acrylic paints, design a door mat that’s totally you. Match your room theme or go wild with colours — it might end up too beautiful to step on!
Session 4: Insect Pattern Art
We’ll dive into positive and negative space as we create our very own insect artwork! First, we’ll pick a favourite bug—beetle, butterfly, dragonfly, spider (or any creepy-crawly we love)—and sketch just half of it. After cutting it out, one side becomes a bold foam print (positive) while the other shows up in the cut-out space (negative). We’ll paste both halves onto our canvas, then fill the negative space with colourful patterns to make it shine. The result? A bright and beautiful insect masterpiece!
